• Beginning August 29, all youth and adult Sunday school classes will be studying God Provides, a film learning experience by Crown Financail Ministries. Classes meet at 9:30 and 11:00 a.m. each Sunday. We will also watch the films and discuss the material on Wednesdays at 6:20 p.m. in the Upper Room, beginning September 1.
  
  
• The church office will be CLOSED on Labor Day, September 6.
  
  
• Women's Ministry Bible studies begin after Labor Day; please check the church calendar for your class. Many of the ladies' groups will be studying Seeing Jesus in Genesis by Nancy Guthrie. If you would like to join a women's study, please contact Susie Courtney in the church office.
  
  
• The LMPC Mountain Men present A Man's Journey, The Silence of Adam: Becoming Men of Courage in a World of Chaos, starting Tuesday mornings from September 14 to October 26. A hot breakfast is provided! If you are interested in joining this, or any of our other men's groups or mixed couples small groups, then please contact Brian Salter in the church office.
  
  
• The next Inquirers class will be held on Sundays at 11:00 a.m. on the fellowship hall stage, from October 25-November 21. This class is a requirement for those who wish to join the church, but all who are interested in learning more about who we are and what we believe are welcome to attend. It will be taught by pastors Frank Hitchings and Brian Salter.
