The Very Important Persons (VIPs) are a group of mostly-retired folks from Lookout Mountain Presbyterian Church and Good Shepherd Episcopal Church who love fellowship and love our Lord. We meet once a month (except in August) for a meal and various fun activities.

You're invited ... to dinner and a concert at Covenant College on September 10th featuring Ashu Dinner begins at 6:30 PM in the Great Hall
As part of the Covenant College Arts concert series, Ashu will be performing on Friday, September 10th. Concert saxophonist Ashu, age 26, has continually defied conventions winning major international and national competitions traditionally won by pianists and violinists. He made his recital debut at Carnegie Hall's Weill Hall in New York and, at age 16, made his concerto debut at DAR Constitution Hall in Washington, D.C. Since then, concerto and recital performances have taken him throughout the USA and Europe.
Join your fellow VIPs prior to the concert for dinner at 6:30 PM in the Great Hall of Carter Hall. The menu is:
Appetizer: Baked Brie with lavosh crackers and a wild berries compote
Salad: Fresh tossed Boston bibb lettuce, tomato, crouton, bacon bits, granola croutons, Patina dressing
Entrée: Herb encrusted beef tenderloin with roasted garlic potatoes and oven roasted fresh asparagus with red peppers
Dessert: Strawberry pie with chocolate dipped strawberries
Coffee, unsweetened tea, crusty rolls and butter
Alternate: grilled salmon over wilted spinach (please advise LMPC at time of your reservation)
The concert follows the dinner at 8:00 PM. Your check for $30 is your reservation for both the dinner and the concert and should be sent to LMPC at 316 N. Bragg Avenue, Lookout Mountain, TN 37350 by FRIDAY AUGUST 27th. (In order to reserve this block of tickets, we have to let Covenant College know early before tickets go on sale to the public.) If anyone needs a ride, please call the LMPC Church office at 821 - 4528.
