Advent and Christmas
LMPC’s annual Christmas concert is held every December. The Chancel Choir, children’s choirs, chamber orchestra, and congregation will join together in singing carols and classics recounting the Savior’s birth. Nursery will be provided at 5:00 p.m.
The Festival of Lessons and Carols is held on Christmas Eve at 3:00, 5:00, and 6:30 p.m. This beautiful candlelight service includes the Christmas narrative from Scripture, vocal and instrumental music, carols for the congregation, and a Christmas homily/children’s sermon.
Other concerts are presented by artists or groups from within or outside of our congregation. In the past we have hosted such groups as The Society for the Preservation of African American Spirituals, the Atlanta Sacred Chorale, The Belarus National Christian Choir, the Kiev Youth Orchestra and Chorus, the Wheaton College Male Glee Club, and individuals including Stephen Nielson, Roger and Abi Lowther, and David Oliver.
