Reflecting on the Psalms, John Calvin wrote this, “What various and resplendent riches are contained in this treasury! It is difficult to find words to describe … I have been wont to call this book not inappropriately, an anatomy of all parts of the soul; for there is not an emotion of which anyone can be conscious that is not here represented as in a mirror.” Our desire for LMPC is to study and discover this rich treasury together this summer in our new series, “Summer in the Psalms,” beginning May 18.

We will provide a Psalms reading plan (download here or pick up a paper copy in the fellowship hall lobby) so we may read the psalms together throughout the week individually, as a family, or both. Each Sunday, one of the psalms from the previous week will be the selected text for preaching.

For those interested, Psalms Scripture journals are available for purchase on Realm Connect for $12. After you register, look for your journal on the table in the fellowship hall lobby. It will be labeled with your name. Note: if you purchase your journal late in the week, it may not be available on the table until the following Sunday.
