Boxes of Blessing is a large-scale ministry project that partners with volunteers, ministries, and churches to provide food for families in need. This year, we have three opportunities to serve with Boxes of Blessing. Registration is required for participation.
All boxes for 2025 have been allocated. Thank you!
prep for the main event: Saturday, Nov. 22
Location 1: LMPC fellowship hall (9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.)
Join us for a family-friendly event as we prepare items for inclusion in this year’s boxes. Coffee and pastries will be provided, and all ages are welcome. This is a wonderful opportunity for those with young children, or those who cannot lift heavy things or stand for a length of time.
Location 2: Chattanooga Bakery (9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.)
Join us as we tape boxes and prepare the warehouse ahead of the main box packing event on Saturday, December 6. Coffee and pastries will be provided, and this opportunity is available for middle and high school-age youth and adults.
the main event: saturday, dec. 6
Join us for a community-wide volunteer opportunity! Volunteers will assist with filling food boxes in an assembly-line environment at the Chattanooga Bakery. This year, three shifts are available:
-8:00 to 10:15 a.m.
-10:45 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
-1:30 to 3:45 p.m.
All ages are welcome, but this opportunity requires lifting, standing, and working an assembly line, so close supervision of children is required. REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED: If you have any changes to your registration, please contact the church office at 423-821-4528.
