Chad Middlebrooks

Chad received his bachelor’s degree in education from the University of Georgia in 1999 and his Master of Divinity in 2009 from Reformed Theological Seminary in Orlando. He was ordained in the PCA in 2010 and served for over nine years as the associate pastor at Zion Presbyterian Church in Columbia, Tennessee, before coming to LMPC. Chad and his wife, Jessica, have four children.

Formative experiences have included meeting Jessica at the University of Georgia and marrying in 2000, becoming a father to four incredible children, working a summer in Yellowstone National Park, and serving four years in college ministry in East Asia with Campus Crusade for Christ.

Influential voices in Chad’s life include seminary professors Scott Swain, Mike Glodo, Steve Brown, and John Frame; authors C.S. Lewis, Tim Keller, Sinclair Ferguson, Paul Tripp, and John Piper. Chad’s favorite books are Knowing God by J.I. Packer, The Swans Are Not Silent series by John Piper, and Union with Christ by Rankin Wilbourne.

In Chad’s free time he loves to run, play golf and tennis, hike, coach his kids in various sports, and spend time with family and friends. Being from Athens, Chad is also a rabid Georgia Bulldog who loves to cheer on the dawgs.

For Chad, the best part of serving at LMPC is the opportunity to serve alongside a team of humble and gifted pastors who have faithfully ministered the Gospel to this church and the surrounding community for many years.
